IN THE BEGINNING ...

I met Adrian at a cricket club function.  My friend asked me to attend with her. I remember thinking, wow he’s so tall (he’s 196cm) and WOW he’s so young (he was 20 and I was turning 25). But we bonded over shared stories of mutual friends.

LEADING UP TO THE BIG DAY ...

We had to postpone our wedding once due to Covid but I knew from the start the exact style of dress I wanted and that I absolutely wanted dried flowers from Gather, so it wasn’t difficult. My tip is research, research, research, know what you want.

ON THE DAY ...

We were married in an old goal in Bendigo, I adore history. Everything perfectly fell into place. My main unique touch was black nail polish.  I’m no traditional bride and wanted the wedding to be unique but stunning too.

ON REFLECTION ...

Stop. Breathe. And take it all in. Appreciate it all because it’s all over so fast.

LOOKING FORWARD ...

Marriage changes nothing. We’re the same now as we were before. I’m just looking forward to spending the rest of our lives together, travelling the world and having as many fur babies as possible!!
