IN THE BEGINNING ...

He stole my number out of a friends phone and texted me “Hi, I know you don’t know me but I think you're beautiful.”

LEADING UP TO THE BIG DAY ...

We got engaged in 2019 and I was never interested in planning the wedding. The dress took a while to find and when it came down to flowers, once I found GATHER, it was a no brainer. I finally finished planning the wedding in 2022.

ON THE DAY ...

Location: Kooroomba lavender farm. To have a low stress wedding, we had a small guest list of our nearest and dearest. We got engaged in Italy and the restaurant gave us a celebratory grappa. On our wedding night we did a speech with celebratory grappa.

ON REFLECTION ...

I was almost not going to get a videographer and there is nothing I am happier about. Straight afterwards I thought … I want to relive that moment.

LOOKING FORWARD ...

I can not image a day without him. Our marriage means growing together in and out of life.
