IN THE BEGINNING ...

James and I met at work when I was 19. I was instantly attracted to him. The work Christmas party is where it all began, we had so much fun together and ended staying up all night talking. It is not everyday you find someone that you can do that with.

LEADING UP TO THE BIG DAY ...

My hot tip would be to get preserved flowers. They arrived 2 months beforehand, it made it easy to set them up the day beforehand and I didn't have to stress about them coming in the morning. I also love that I got to keep them afterwards.

ON THE DAY ...

To ensure low stress, I made sure that I was well organised and didn't leave anything to the last minute. We forgot we organised with our celebrant that our guests would announce us husband and wide instead of her, so that was a nice surprise!

ON REFLECTION ...

Our wedding day was perfect to us. Don’t sweat the little things and just enjoy it because it goes so quickly!
