IN THE BEGINNING ...

We met in mid-2016 at a mutual friends' wedding. We had a cool conversation but it didn't go any further then that until the end of 2016 when James tracked me down on socials. We've been inseparable ever since!

LEADING UP TO THE BIG DAY ...

Covid postponed our first wedding date, which was a blessing in disguise because the weather was horrible. Our wedding this year was more perfect then we ever could have imagined!

ON THE DAY ...

We had the wedding at our off-grid bushland property. We honoured our Norse & Swedish heritage by having a traditional Viking / Pagan Handfasting Ceremony. James literally built our ceremony location in a secluded on the property that we loved.

ON REFLECTION ...

Our day absolutely exceeded our expectations, everyone had the best time which is what we wanted. The only thing I wish I had done was take the time to eat all of the expensive food we had there (I was too excited to eat haha!).

LOOKING FORWARD ...

Looking forward to continuing building our little off-grid farm together and adding some off-grid babies into the equation!
